CleanBizStack collects minimal data. We don't sell personal information. This policy explains what we do collect and why.

What we collect

Analytics

We use privacy-respecting analytics to understand how visitors use the site — which pages are read, where traffic comes from, and which content is most useful. Our analytics collect aggregate data (page views, referral sources, general geographic region) without identifying individual visitors. No cookies are required for analytics, and no personally identifiable information is stored in our analytics system.

Affiliate link clicks

When you click an outbound affiliate link on this site, the destination vendor may set their own cookies for attribution purposes. We don't control what vendors track after you leave our site. Our disclosure page explains how affiliate relationships work and what they do not influence about our editorial.

Email correspondence

If you email us via hello@cleanbizstack.com, we store your message and email address to respond to your inquiry. We don't add you to any mailing list as a result of emailing us. We don't share your email address with vendors, partners, or any third party.

What we don't collect

  • No account creation or login required to use this site
  • No credit card or payment information collected
  • No personal data sold to third parties
  • No advertising cookies or retargeting pixels
  • No browser fingerprinting or cross-site tracking
  • No personally identifiable information stored in analytics

Cookies

The site itself sets no tracking cookies. If we use any functional cookies (such as preferences), they are limited to essential site operation and contain no personal data. Third-party affiliate links may set cookies after you leave our site — your browser's cookie settings control this behavior.

Third-party services

The following types of services may process data on our behalf:

  • Hosting provider — serves the site's pages to your browser. Access logs (IP addresses, timestamps) are retained per the host's standard retention policy.
  • Analytics provider — collects aggregate, non-identifying usage data as described above.
  • Email provider — processes correspondence sent to our contact address.

We select providers that respect visitor privacy and minimize data collection.

Data retention

We retain email correspondence for as long as it's relevant to an ongoing conversation or inquiry. We don't maintain long-term archives of reader correspondence beyond what's needed to provide context for follow-up messages. Analytics data is retained in aggregate form only and cannot be linked back to individual visitors.

Your rights

You may request deletion of any personal data we hold (primarily email correspondence). You may also request a copy of any data associated with your email address. We aim to respond to data requests within 30 days. Contact us at hello@cleanbizstack.com for either request.

Changes to this policy

If our data practices change, we'll update this page. The effective date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
